This baby monitor car camera has worked great. My husband installed this in both my car and the second one in his after using the one in my car and loving it. It took him about 15 mins to install it, hiding the cords took the longest time, but if you don’t care about the cords showing it would be even quicker.

I would only recommend this. I tried using the mirrors but they are a huge distraction given you have to look in the rearview mirror. I heard about this in Reddit and thought it would be a good solution. It definitely is and I have one for travel as well. It's easy to set up, picture is clear and even with a baby and toddler if you set it up right you don't have to worry about the toddler getting to it,
