This a great cooling unit and it also looks very nice. It chills the room quickly and the quiet fan is quiet. I think it might be the compressor that makes noise when it hums and vibrates and that is only sound it makes .
Got this for my tenant. She says it cools her apartment right down, even though it is just undersized for the volume it is cooling. Quiet too. Installed easily. My only complaint was that it got beat up in transit.
