Bought this so my 7 yr old had a way to take his own pictures on a trip to Cancun. Waterproof was great, the strap to not lose it was great, worked as expected, the accessories and quality spectacular and price point was spot on.
Well, my new 5-year old granddaughter only took about 90 photos in the first 5 minutes of opening this box. She was sure she wanted an underwater feature, so we have yet to test that element. I think the plastic 'shell' on the camera making it waterproof is great protection for it in general.
