This is a very good chair - especially for the price. You do need to assemble it but it is very easy to do so. The instructions are clear and everything you need to assemble the chair is included. It's not a long process it only has a few steps. It is the most comfortable chair I have tried in this price range. The bottom/cushion is good. I work 11-hour days and most of the time I'm sitting in this chair, and my butt feels fine. Nothing special about it but nothing to complain about either. The back of the chair is curved.
