The HY300PRO is a small, lightweight “mini-projector” designed for flexible use: home theatre, casual movie nights, bedroom ceiling projection, small-room viewing, or occasional portable use. It runs a built-in Android 11 operating system (so you don’t necessarily need an external streaming stick — apps can run directly), supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity, and aims for easy setup with auto vertical keystone correction plus the ability to project at a variety of angles (180° rotation: wall, floor, ceiling, etc.).

Native resolution vs “4K/1080p support” — The projector’s native resolution is 1280×720 (720p). While it accepts 1080p or 4K input, the image will be downscaled to 720p native — meaning the delivered sharpness will reflect 720p, not true Full HD or 4K.
Brightness / Light output & viewing environment — Brightness is modest (often specified ~160–200 ANSI lumens depending on listing), which means ambient light or daylight will significantly degrade the picture quality. For best results — movies at night, in dim rooms, or with blackout curtains — is recommended.
Sound quality (built-in speaker) vs need for external audio — It comes with a built-in speaker (or small audio output), which may suffice for personal/small-room use. But for a more cinematic, immersive sound experience — especially with larger screen size — external speakers or Bluetooth sound output are likely needed.
Portability and convenience (size, built-in OS, easy setup) — The HY300PRO’s compact size, built-in Android system, WiFi & Bluetooth connectivity, auto keystone correction, and 180° rotatable projection make it easy to set up anywhere (bedroom ceiling, living room wall, small space) without complicated hardware or wiring.
Realistic expectations vs marketing claims — As with many budget / mini-projectors, marketing may highlight “4K support,” “HD,” or “home theatre” — but in real-world use, limitations (resolution, brightness, audio, lamp power) mean this projector is best for casual viewing rather than demanding home-cinema performance.
Possibly the biggest caveat: HY300PRO’s native resolution is 720p (1280×720). While it supports 1080p/4K input, it downscales internally — meaning the actual projected image quality will correspond to 720p.On a small screen (say a wall in a bedroom), or at modest projection size, 720p may suffice and look acceptable for movies, shows, or casual streaming. But if you expect sharp detail, fine text readability (for presentations), or cinematic-level clarity — especially on larger screens — you may notice softness, reduced sharpness, and less detail compared to true 1080p or 4K projectors.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
This Mini Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth is such an amazing find! The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, and the 4K support really makes movies, shows, and games come to life. The 200 ANSI brightness is impressive for its size—it works great even with some light in the room.
Great little projector. I was able to access different apps right on the projector and connect it to wifi. I was also able to connect it to my bluetooth speaker too. It's awesome compact and has a good picture. Going to use it camping next summer.
