I tried several detectors, even much more expensive ones. The R4 is my choice. It’s small and good looking, upgraded tech has great range and filters out the garbage signals automatically or manually and is especially good blocking aggravating trash signals coming for other cars. And when it does get a legit threat it’s on it a mile away.
